詞根：cide, cis = cut, kill 切，殺

1. precision
助記：pre + cis（切）+ ion（名詞后綴）→像用刀切過(guò)的一樣→精確
釋義：n. 精確，精密度，精度



舉例：
These instruments are capable of very high precision.
這些儀器可以達(dá)到很高的精密度。


2. incisive
助記：in（向內(nèi)）+ cis（切）+ ive →深刻的
釋義：a. 深刻的，尖銳的，激烈的


舉例：
He gave a clear and incisive presentation of the matter.
他對(duì)整件事做出了一個(gè)清楚而又深刻的描述。


3. excide
助記：ex（出）+ cide（切）→切出去→切除
釋義：vt. 切開(kāi)，切除，刪除




舉例：
It is necessary to excide the tumor in time.

1. attract

4. distract
助記：dis（分開(kāi)）+ tract（拉）→（注意力）被拉開(kāi)→分散
釋義：v. 分散，轉(zhuǎn)移





舉例：
The film managed to distract me from these problems for a while.
這部影片分散了我的注意力，讓我暫時(shí)忘記了這些難題。


5. contract
助記：con（共同）+ tract（拉，拽）→將雙方利益拉到一起→合同
釋義：n. 合同，契約，婚約；v. 定約


舉例：
You have to contract with us for this business.
為了這次交易，你必須和我們簽訂合同。


詞根mini = small 小的
1. minimum
助記：mini（�。�+ m + um（數(shù)）→小的數(shù)→最小值
釋義：a. 最小的，最低的；n. 最小值，最小化

舉例：
Repairing your car will cost a minimum of 100 dollars.
修理你的汽車(chē)最少要100美元。


2. minimize

4. diminish
助記：di + mini（小）+ (i)sh（使）→縮小→減少

舉例：
