學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷

1992年在美國(guó)邁阿密大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院生物化學(xué)及分子生物學(xué)系獲博士學(xué)位。1993年在美國(guó)邁阿密大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院醫(yī)學(xué)系從事博士后工作。

工作經(jīng)歷

1994年開始，在美國(guó)耶魯大學(xué)分子、細(xì)胞及發(fā)育生物學(xué)系先后從事博士后和研究員工作。2000年回國(guó)受聘為湖南師范大學(xué)生命科學(xué)學(xué)院教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。2000年8月入選教育部“長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)計(jì)劃” 特聘教授，同時(shí)獲國(guó)家杰出青年科學(xué)基金資助，2004年入選百千萬(wàn)人才工程國(guó)家級(jí)人選和享受政府特殊津貼，并受聘為上海“模式生物”E-研究院特約研究員，上海第二醫(yī)科大學(xué)兼職博士生導(dǎo)師�，F(xiàn)為湖南省衛(wèi)生廳廳長(zhǎng)、政協(xié)湖南省第十屆委員會(huì)常務(wù)委員、九三學(xué)社湖南省委副主委、全國(guó)青聯(lián)留學(xué)人員聯(lián)誼會(huì)理事、湖南省知識(shí)分子聯(lián)誼會(huì)副會(huì)長(zhǎng)、國(guó)家遺傳工程小鼠資源庫(kù)第一屆技術(shù)委員會(huì)委員。
主要從事與人類疾病相關(guān)的基因及蛋白的鑒定和功能分析。主持國(guó)家863計(jì)劃、國(guó)家“973”計(jì)劃、國(guó)家杰出青年基金、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、教育部創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)、教育部重點(diǎn)課題、湖南省教育廳重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目、湖南省自然科學(xué)基金等多項(xiàng)課題等科研項(xiàng)目20余項(xiàng)；申請(qǐng)專利5項(xiàng)，已授權(quán)2項(xiàng)；在Nature、PNAS、Nucleic Acids Research等國(guó)際雜志上發(fā)表SCI論文30余篇；2001年獲得湖南省青年科技獎(jiǎng)。
