湖南大學(xué)教授、博士生導(dǎo)師、土木工程學(xué)院學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)委員,建筑環(huán)境與設(shè)備工程系副主任,教育部“新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才支持計(jì)劃”入選者,湖南大學(xué)首屆優(yōu)秀人才計(jì)劃—“擷英計(jì)劃”入選者,美國采暖制冷空調(diào)工程師學(xué)會(huì)(ASHRAE)正式會(huì)員。擔(dān)任國際建筑性能仿真學(xué)會(huì)中國分會(huì)華中地區(qū)負(fù)責(zé)人(2005~),《暖通空調(diào)》和《建筑熱能通風(fēng)空調(diào)》雜志編審委員會(huì)委員,第10屆國際建筑性能仿真學(xué)術(shù)會(huì)議(BS2007)組委會(huì)委員和學(xué)術(shù)委員會(huì)委員。曾為香港理工大學(xué)博士后、研究員和高級研究員,美國Oklahoma州立大學(xué)訪問教授。先后到美國Nebraska-Lincoln大學(xué)、香港大學(xué)和香港城市大學(xué)等機(jī)構(gòu)訪問。
主持或參加完成國家自然科學(xué)基金和國際合作等科研項(xiàng)目20余項(xiàng),其中主持國家自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目3項(xiàng),大型國際合作項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng),省部重點(diǎn)項(xiàng)目2項(xiàng)。已發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文180余篇,其中國際學(xué)術(shù)期刊論文33篇,三大檢索收錄100余篇次,SCI收錄33篇,EI收錄46篇,SCI引用130余次。出版專著2部,編寫教材2部,獲得實(shí)用新型專利6項(xiàng),發(fā)明專利2項(xiàng),登記著作權(quán)軟件4部。研究成果獲得國際優(yōu)秀科技論文獎(jiǎng)1篇(第1完成人),教育部自然科學(xué)獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)(第1完成人),教育部科學(xué)技術(shù)進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)一等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)(第2完成人),湖南省科學(xué)技術(shù)進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)1項(xiàng)(第2完成人)。
