溫金玉，1961年生，山西嵐縣人，1987年畢業(yè)于中國人民大學哲學系研究生班。哲學碩士。曾任山西省社會科學院哲學所副所長、山西佛教研究所所長�，F任中國人民大學哲學院教授，博士生導師，教育部人文社會科學重點研究基地中國人民大學佛教與宗教學理論研究所研究員。

研究方向為中國佛教制度、佛教倫理學和宗教政策法規(guī)。著述有《僧尼的一生》、《觀音菩薩》、《四分律釋譯》、《讀體見月大師傳》、《慧能法師傳》、《佛教凈土宗與山西玄中寺》、《禪宗倫理學初探》、《佛教慈悲觀》等8部專著，《禪宗宗派源流》、《宗教與當代中國社會》等12部合著，以及《禪宗倫理思想研究》、《佛陀制戒本懷與佛法未來》等150余篇論文。主持國家社會科學基金項目《中國僧制史研究》、教育部人文社會科學重點研究基地重大項目《中國律宗研究》、港臺合作項目《中國佛教制度研究》、委托課題《長春佛教溯源》等。2006年創(chuàng)辦“中國佛教制度研究中心”網站。主講課程有：《中國佛教史研究》、《佛教哲學》、《佛教歷史與思想》、《佛典導讀》、《佛教宗派研究》等。
