中國人民大學(xué)

王鴻生，1954年生，法學(xué)（政治學(xué)）博士，哲學(xué)院教授、博士生導(dǎo)師。1981年獲西北工業(yè)大學(xué)工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。1985年獲中國人民大學(xué)哲學(xué)碩士學(xué)位并留校任教，研究科學(xué)技術(shù)史、科技哲學(xué)。2002年在職取得博士學(xué)位。韓國中央大學(xué)高級研究學(xué)者（2004-2005），荷蘭烏德勒支大學(xué)訪問教授（2012）。從事“儒學(xué)的特點與局限性”研究。開設(shè)世界科學(xué)技術(shù)史、科學(xué)方法論等課程。著有《科學(xué)技術(shù)史》、《歷史的瀑布與峽谷—中華文明的文化結(jié)構(gòu)和現(xiàn)代轉(zhuǎn)型》等。研究方向為“科技與中國發(fā)展”，“科技文化與文明”等。

Resume

Wang graduated in 1981 from Northwest Polytechnics University as BE. Having received MP in 1985, he has been doing research and teaching in fields of history of science and technology, philosophy of science. In 2002, he received PhD in field of political science. From Aug.2004-to Aug.2005, Wang had finished the research of the limits and characteristics of Confucianism in Chung-Ang University in South Korea as a visiting scholar. In the summer of 2012, he visited  Utrecht University in joining a research program between China and Netherlands. He teaches the History of Science and Technology, the Methodology of Academic Research, while paying attention to Chinese culture, politics and modernization in scientific outlook.
