研究成果
|
主要從事巨水系發(fā)育和青藏高原隆升及其環(huán)境效應(yīng)研究,主要成果總結(jié)如下:
1、在前人研究的基礎(chǔ)上,根據(jù)較精確的測(cè)年資料,較系統(tǒng)地研究了黃河全程的形成歷史,指出黃河形成是通過(guò)襲奪、串聯(lián)內(nèi)流水系進(jìn)行的,先后經(jīng)歷了3.6Ma前、3.6-1.7 Ma、1.7-1.1 Ma、1.1-0.1 Ma和最近10ka等五個(gè)發(fā)育階段,較早定量給出了黃河的形成年代,填補(bǔ)了黃河最上游發(fā)育研究的不足,有關(guān)研究成果完成后,受到了學(xué)術(shù)界的普遍關(guān)注。
2、根據(jù)夷平面、剝蝕面和河流階地等資料,進(jìn)一步完善了青藏高原第三紀(jì)高度變化歷史和第四紀(jì)強(qiáng)烈隆起主要事件發(fā)生的年代,豐富了李吉均院士等關(guān)于高原隆升過(guò)程的觀點(diǎn)。指出青藏高原在第三紀(jì)經(jīng)歷了兩次抬升和兩次夷平;導(dǎo)致青藏高原達(dá)到現(xiàn)代高度的強(qiáng)烈隆起開(kāi)始于3.6Ma前,而后經(jīng)歷了多次強(qiáng)烈構(gòu)造上升事件。3.6Ma BP高原主夷平面解體前其海拔高度不超過(guò)1000m,2.5Ma BP時(shí)青藏高原的高度超過(guò)2000m,0.6Ma BP時(shí)超過(guò)3000m,0.1Ma BP以后超過(guò)4000m。青藏高原隆起不僅改變了它本身的自然環(huán)境,而且對(duì)其周圍乃至全球的自然環(huán)境也產(chǎn)生了重大影響。在青藏高原隆起研究基礎(chǔ)上,提出青藏高原是晚新生代全球氣候變化的"驅(qū)動(dòng)機(jī)"和"放大器"。
3、通過(guò)對(duì)黃河上游和祁連山等地區(qū)河流階地的研究,比較系統(tǒng)地探討了黃河上游及其毗鄰地區(qū)河流階地的形成發(fā)育模式。指出河流階地的形成受構(gòu)造抬升和氣候變化共同控制,氣候的影響主要表現(xiàn)為決定河流下切(階地形成)的時(shí)代,構(gòu)造的影響表現(xiàn)為控制河流下切幅度。
4、根據(jù)沙楔等冰緣遺跡,通過(guò)較精確的年代測(cè)定,恢復(fù)了最近15萬(wàn)年青藏高原多年凍土邊界變化過(guò)程,提出最近兩次冰期時(shí)我國(guó)的緯度多年凍土帶和高原多年凍土帶連成一體,青藏高原冰期氣溫下降幅度大于同緯度其他地區(qū)。
5、根據(jù)川西甘孜地區(qū)晚更新世黃土研究了末次間冰期以來(lái)青藏高原東部的環(huán)境和季風(fēng)變化,指出甘孜地區(qū)黃土記錄的氣候變化與黃土高原地區(qū)存在差異,它與印度洋季風(fēng)記錄的對(duì)比較之與全球冰量曲線的對(duì)比更為接近,可能反映了青藏高原與印度洋季風(fēng)在成因上存在內(nèi)在聯(lián)系或二者具有共同的驅(qū)動(dòng)機(jī)制;根據(jù)蘭州附近的黃土氣候記錄,揭示了末次冰期中季風(fēng)環(huán)流的不穩(wěn)定性以及其與Heinrich事件和Bond周期的關(guān)系。
