《研究生英語(yǔ)精讀教程》（第三版·下）供非英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè)碩士研究生一年級(jí)第二學(xué)期使用。重點(diǎn)在于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力，并兼顧培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的寫(xiě)、譯能力。
本書(shū)共12個(gè)單元。每一單元由課文（Text）、生詞（Yew Words and Expressions）、注釋?zhuān)∟otes）、練習(xí)（Exercises）和副課文（Supplementary Reading）五部分組成。奇數(shù)單元配有練習(xí)A、B、C；偶數(shù)單元配有練習(xí)A、B。每課可安排6-8學(xué)時(shí)，視課文的長(zhǎng)度和各校的具體情況而定。兩次Mini-Test各安排2．5小時(shí)。
