華東師范大學(xué)政治學(xué)系政治哲學(xué)與思想史研究生導(dǎo)師馬奧尼介紹如下：

Josef Gregory Mahoney is Professor of Politics; Executive Director of the International Center for Advanced Political Studies; Founder and Director of the International Graduate Program in Politics; Associate Editor, US-based Journal of Chinese Political Science (SSCI) and Co-Editor, ECNU Review. His

publications have appeared in Chinese and Western journals and news publications and he’s provided numerous live, on-air contributions to ICS, ShenzhenTV, CCTV, CGTN and BBC television news programs, as well as served as a regular contributor to political discussions on China Radio

International. He was a member of the Chinese team that translated Jiang Zemin’s Selected Works into English and subsequently a Senior Researcher with the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau (中共中央編譯局).

約瑟夫∙格里高利∙馬奧尼博士，政治學(xué)國(guó)際研究生項(xiàng)目(IGPP)項(xiàng)目負(fù)責(zé)人，華東師范大學(xué)教授、博士生導(dǎo)師，分別于2002年及2003年在喬治華盛頓大學(xué)(George Washington University)獲哲學(xué)碩士及博士學(xué)位，其研究集中于政治哲學(xué)及中國(guó)思想研究。之前分別于1994年、1995年獲得美國(guó)伯明翰阿拉巴馬大學(xué)公共

衛(wèi)生管理碩士及公共管理碩士學(xué)位，本科同樣就讀于喬治華盛頓大學(xué)，方向?yàn)槔�丁美洲研究。獲得博士學(xué)位前，其在美國(guó)喬治亞州亞特蘭大疾病控制中心擔(dān)任公共衛(wèi)生職員，期間主要負(fù)責(zé)了一項(xiàng)全國(guó)環(huán)境衛(wèi)生方案，并在33個(gè)州得以實(shí)施，隨后被提升為由美國(guó)衛(wèi)生保健研究和質(zhì)量管理機(jī)構(gòu)40多名經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家組成的團(tuán)

隊(duì)的管理者。在移居中國(guó)前，在美國(guó)授課超過(guò)10年，先后就職于美國(guó)喬治華盛頓大學(xué)、馬里蘭大學(xué)帕克分校以及大河谷州立大學(xué)。除了教授馬克思主義、中國(guó)政治思想、政治哲學(xué)以及批判理論，同樣廣泛參與到戰(zhàn)略規(guī)劃、課程發(fā)展以及項(xiàng)目評(píng)估等活動(dòng)之中。是馬克思主義與當(dāng)代中國(guó)政治發(fā)展方面國(guó)際公認(rèn)的專

家，同時(shí)兼任中國(guó)領(lǐng)先的國(guó)際周刊《北京周報(bào)》的專欄作家，美國(guó)《中國(guó)政治學(xué)刊》助理編輯，《復(fù)旦大學(xué)人文社會(huì)科學(xué)論叢》編輯，曾是英文版《江澤民文選》翻譯團(tuán)隊(duì)成員之一，中央編譯局(北京)高級(jí)研究員(2010-2013)，于2014年初獲德國(guó)政府項(xiàng)目基金赴德國(guó)全球與區(qū)域研究所亞洲研究院擔(dān)任訪問(wèn)學(xué)者。

Research Interests

History of Chinese politics and political development in a contemporary, global context; comparative history of Chinese and Western political philosophy; ethics; dialectics; social and ecological justice, critical theory; Marxism; feminism; universal design for learning (UDL); and integrative and

interdisciplinary research models and pedagogies.
