首先，重點(diǎn)掌握英語(yǔ)大綱中必考詞匯，深度理解詞義

我們來(lái)了解下大綱的詞匯（5560），其中必考詞為1575，基礎(chǔ)詞為2000+，生僻詞為1700+。其實(shí)考生對(duì)于基礎(chǔ)詞匯比較好鞏固，生僻詞出現(xiàn)的也不多，考生還是要把重點(diǎn)放在必考詞匯中詞義的深度理解上，例如：

1.yield產(chǎn)量（12次），屈服（15次）。

Self-doubt has yielded to blind pride.2000年真題閱讀text1，yield to是“向……屈服”，即“被取代”。此處使用了現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)，證明這種狀態(tài)到現(xiàn)在已成型。

解析：此處理解為：最高持續(xù)產(chǎn)量。

其次，注意真題中的熟詞僻義。

1.entail=make=cause=render=underlie引導(dǎo)，引起（根據(jù)語(yǔ)境，模糊理解），涉及，使…有…。

　例如：It is becoming less clear, however, that such a theory would be a simplification, given the dimensions and universes that it might entail, nonetheless, unification of sorts remains a major goal.

解析：本句是it引導(dǎo)的形式主語(yǔ)，真正的主語(yǔ)是：such a theory would be a simplification, given the dimensions and universes that it might entail是定語(yǔ)從句，省略了which is，這樣切分意群：It is becoming less clear,/ however, that such a theory /would be a simplification, /given the dimensions and universes /that it might entail,/ nonetheless, /unification of sorts /remains /a major goal. 逐個(gè)翻譯意群的意思，然后再組合成通順的漢語(yǔ)。

意譯：然而，鑒于這樣一種理論所涵蓋的規(guī)模和領(lǐng)域，他是否還算是一種簡(jiǎn)化就越來(lái)越模糊了。盡管如此，將多樣性統(tǒng)一化依然是主要目標(biāo)。

2.entitle=give=confer=grant 給，賦予，授予…特權(quán)

例如：we are entitled to some privileges. 我們被賦予一些特權(quán)。

Some philosophers argue that rights exist only within a social contract, as part of an exchange of duties and entitlements.

解析：首先我們來(lái)切分意群：Some philosophers argue / that rights exist only within a social contract, / as part of an exchange of duties and entitlements.

然后我們?cè)诜�譯時(shí)要注意：

1)主干結(jié)構(gòu)是主從復(fù)合句：Some philosophers argue that...

2)that引導(dǎo)的是賓語(yǔ)從句

3)as part of.。。是賓語(yǔ)從句中的rights的主語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)。

同時(shí)我們學(xué)員在翻譯時(shí)要注意以下的詞匯：

argue 論證

a social contract 社會(huì)契約

as part of 作為(是)……的一部分

entitlements 利益，權(quán)利

有些哲學(xué)家論證說(shuō)，權(quán)利只存在社會(huì)契約中，是責(zé)任與利益相交換的一部分。

3.表示“認(rèn)為”的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)。

argue, argument, contend, contention, insist, assume, assumption, suspicion, suspect, fear, suggest, suggestion, assert, assertion, feel, agreement, advice, stress, attempt, worry, moan, complain, think, believe, maintain, hold. 這些詞語(yǔ)的表達(dá)意思的側(cè)重點(diǎn)有所不同，但是都有認(rèn)為的意思。
