在考研英語(yǔ)大綱中，明確規(guī)定了考生應(yīng)該能夠理解主旨要義、理解文章的總體結(jié)構(gòu)以及上下文之間的關(guān)系、區(qū)分論點(diǎn)和論據(jù)。由此可見(jiàn)，主題題目的重要性，而且抓住主題后，對(duì)于推理題甚至詞匯題都大有裨益。因此建議大家在做題目之前最好能夠?qū)ξ恼轮黝}有個(gè)認(rèn)識(shí)，今天老師就文章主題的把握進(jìn)行闡述，希望對(duì)大家有所幫助。

拿到手文章之后，首先閱讀文章首段、一二段的交接處以及文章末段，重點(diǎn)關(guān)注這些段落的轉(zhuǎn)折、強(qiáng)調(diào)，之后再進(jìn)行題目的解答，有的與主題相關(guān)的題目會(huì)做到速戰(zhàn)速?zèng)Q。

例一：Which of the following would be the best title for the text? A.Strain of stress: no way out? B.Responses of stress: gender difference C. Stress analysis: what chemicals say D. Gender inequality: women under stress.我們暫且不去看該題，首先閱讀文章首段、一二段的交接處以及文章末段: While still catching-up t omen in some spheres of modern life, women appear to be way ahead in at least one undesirable category.“ Women are particularly susceptible to developing depression and anxiety disorders inresponse to stress compared to men,” according to Dr.Yehuda, chief psychiatrist at New York’s Veteran’s Administration Hospital.

由這幾段可以瀏覽出關(guān)鍵詞是women和stress，因此可以看出該文章在闡述男女在承受壓力方面的比對(duì)，而更加強(qiáng)調(diào)了女人承受了更多壓力因此選擇一個(gè)既包含對(duì)比又提及女人的答案，因此D是最佳選項(xiàng)，有同學(xué)誤選擇了B,錯(cuò)誤在于只看到了對(duì)比的一方面，而忽略了更加重要的談?wù)搶?duì)象--女人。

同樣的推理題目，也是要注意主題大于細(xì)節(jié)，觀(guān)點(diǎn)大于論據(jù)。來(lái)看這樣一個(gè)題目What can we infer from the first three paragraphs? A.In both East and West, names are essential to success. B.The alphabet is to blame for the failure of Zoe Zysman. C.Customers often pay a lot attention to companies’ names. D.Some form of discrimination is too subtle to recognize.但看題目，B、C是最不能選的，因?yàn)楹茏⒁饧?xì)節(jié)，而A選項(xiàng)雖然看似是結(jié)論但本身是個(gè)錯(cuò)誤選項(xiàng)，因此D作為觀(guān)點(diǎn)是最佳、最正確的選項(xiàng)。

閱讀文章要有全局觀(guān)，不要在細(xì)枝末節(jié)上糾纏，同樣兩個(gè)選項(xiàng)，一個(gè)涉及細(xì)節(jié)一個(gè)涉及觀(guān)點(diǎn)結(jié)論，要選結(jié)論而非細(xì)節(jié)。希望大家今后在做題過(guò)程中先從主題上把握，再進(jìn)行題目解答，相信應(yīng)該對(duì)于提高正確率是很有幫助的。
