《課堂語境下的語言意識教學(xué)實(shí)證探究（英文版）》討論了語言意識理論和該理論在語言教學(xué)中的應(yīng)用。所謂語言意識可以認(rèn)為是對于人類語言能力及這種能力在思維、學(xué)習(xí)和社會生活中的作用的理解力，指處理語言信息的一種內(nèi)在能力，可以是直覺的，更是清晰的對語言形式的注意，甚至是更高層次的元認(rèn)知。語言意識可以用三個隱喻來表述：語言意識是語言的“窗口”，是通向外語學(xué)習(xí)的“橋梁”，是顯示文字能力和語言能力的“門戶”。然而，作為教學(xué)方法的語言意識在其適用性和實(shí)用性領(lǐng)域的研究到目前為止仍顯不足。
《課堂語境下的語言意識教學(xué)實(shí)證探究（英文版）》的主要目的在于探索作為教學(xué)方法的語言意識以及在中國外語教學(xué)語境下I-I-I（Illustration-Interaction-Induction，說明一互動一推導(dǎo)）模式在語法教學(xué)上的應(yīng)用。本研究為實(shí)證研究。首先進(jìn)行了先期研究以檢視在中國外語教學(xué)語境下的適用性。隨后通過課堂語法教學(xué)對I-I-I模式在中國外語教學(xué)語境下的教學(xué)可行性進(jìn)行了探索。研究方法采用了混合式研究方法，即質(zhì)性研究途徑與量化研究途徑相混合，采用敘述法、問卷法、訪談法以及前測和后測、SPSS數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計等研究手段。研究結(jié)果顯示，基于語言意識的I-I-I語法教學(xué)方法呈現(xiàn)相對好的成就，被試表現(xiàn)出正向的認(rèn)知理念，從而證實(shí)該模式在中國外語教學(xué)語境下的可行性。
