Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,established in 1995,is a key national university globally renowned for excellent teaching and research in the field of information and telecommunications,with engineering as its main focus and multidisciplinary combination of Engineering,Management,Humanities and Science as its main pursuit.Since ist founding,BUPT has consistently been ranked among the top famous universities in China for IT and related subjects,and has officially been designated a“Key University”by the Ministry of Education-a privilege conferred only to China's top100instiutions.It is one of the 97 nuiversities which are being bulit preferentially in the National Project“211”。
